Filmmaker Offers Premieres
LAKE HAVASU CITY — Lake Havasu producer-director Jeff London is encouraged by the reception of his latest movie, A Warm Wind. The movie received five stars at the Cheyenne Film Festival in May 2011, and it received good reviews and viewer response when it premiered in Lake Havasu last October.
Now London is ready to fully promote A Warm Wind through additional premieres and DVD sales.
A Warm Wind is the story of a Marine who comes home from war with post-traumatic stress disorder and a traumatic brain injury, and his cousin who decides to step up to help him. The movie was filmed completely in Lake Havasu.
When asked why he took a chance making a movie about a subject that is tearing the country apart, London responded, “I’ve played my career very safe up to now. I’ve listened to people across the country speak against the troops or not care. I am very concerned about our returning and active-duty military suffering with PTSD or a TBI. I decided I would do something about it. I am only free because of these brave warriors protecting me and my country.”
London is inviting cities that would like to hold a premiere of A Warm Wind to contact him. He can help cities set up the premiere as a benefit fundraiser for organizations, and may be available to make a personal appearance.
